My first, and probably still my favorite prime lens. I’ve stuck with Zeiss the whole way through, my first Sony camera came with a kit Zeiss lens. This however was something different. this 50mm was my introduction to fast apertures, the F1.4-4 range really let me dig into dramatic portrait and dialogue shots.

Not to mention the insane low light benefits.
